This is a real nice example of the last of the Air Heads and probably one of the most reliable bikes out there. In very good if not excellent overall condition this bike has been set up right with many desirable accessories. I purchased this BMW from a good customer who I have purchased other beemers from over the years and they are always stored inside and professionally maintained. Complete with the owner’s manual, tool kit and most of the service history. These photos were just taken moments before this listing was created.

Mechanical Notes: I took it for a 10 mile test ride and it runs great. There are no abnormal sounds or vibrations it starts right up, accelerates, shifts, stops and handles as it should. I have checked it over and given it a good inspection, everything checks out great. The Sony sound system that is mounted in the dash is wired for a CD changer that will fits in the rear trunk, there is NO CD changer with the bike but it will accept one that can be controlled from the dash as seen in the photos. I have only two keys one fits the fuel cap that I would say was replaced and the other key fits everything else including the saddle bags, trunk, radio cover, seat and the ignition. The service is up to date it needs nothing the oil was just changed and all fluids checked, the tires are almost new and the brakes show hardly any wear; it’s ready to ride.
Cosmetic Comments: Please look real close at the up-to-the-minute photos as they show this bike really well. The charcoal and silver paint is deep, rich with no fading and is free of swirl marks. This is a great looking bike that doesn’t show the miles. But with normal wear and tear there are a few small scuffs and nicks here and there and on the saddle bags covers from feet hitting them. The cylinder head covers have had some paint touch up there are also a few small nicks on the lower fairing from the drivers shoes and from removal for service. There is a crack in the left rear tail section below the passenger seat and behind the left saddle bag that is shown in the photos. The paint is flaking on the rear fender and there is a small chip that’s hard to see on the right plastic side cover. The chrome is bright and free of pitting or flaking. There are no dings, dents, rips, tears, rust or major flaws, this is a good looking well cared for smooth running bike. 50,000 miles
