2005 R1200 GS

This is a wicked nice 2005 two owner example with only 31000 road touring miles on the clock. Clean and shinny is the best way to describe this bike. The GS sets the standard for adventure touring and this is a very well cared for fully equipped example that has been lowered about 2 inches with new shocks. Spring is just around the corner and the good ones like this go quick. Comes complete with the owner’s manual and two sets of keys, the manual includes the full service history.

Mechanical Notes
I was lucky and had a real nice day to take this GS for an extended test drive, can you believe that’s my job! There are no abnormal sounds or vibrations it starts right up, accelerates, shifts, stops and handles as it should. I have looked it over and given it a good inspection with everything checking out great, it’s obvious that this bike has ridden easily and has been well maintained. The final drive oil that BMW says never needs to be changed has been changed three time. The service is up to date, the oil and filter were just changed and all fluids checked, the tires are like new and the brakes show hardly any wear; it’s ready to ride.                   
Cosmetic Comments
Please look real close at the up-to-the-minute photos as they show this bike really well. The metallic yellow paint is deep, rich, and clean and shinny with no fading or swirl marks. It is obvious that this bike has always been stored inside. This is a great looking bike that doesn’t show many miles. There are no dings, dents, rips, tears, rust or major flaws, this is a good looking well cared for smooth running bike. I ship many motorcycles please let me ship yours to you!
